Part 2 – Life Insurance as an Alternative to Traditional LTC Coverage
As you are meeting with your clients, hopefully you are doing some further digging into their total financial plan. One of the biggest concerns for clients is how to handle Long Term Care needs, they don’t want to be a burden to their family and they don’t want to burn through their savings.
As you look at traditional LTC coverage, many clients will balk at the cost and the fact that it’s set up as “use it or lose it” coverage, meaning they could be paying for something they never use.
This opens the door for life insurance with LTC/Chronic Illness options.
I have several agents that sell a lot of life insurance almost exclusively to enable the client to access the funds for LTC needs.
