Trent is a Principal Officer of Simplicity Des Moines (formerly Davis Life & Annuity) with nearly 30 years of life and annuity marketing experience. Trent is a graduate of Indiana University’s prestigious Kelly School of Business and has completed seven CLU and ChFC classes along with numerous advanced insurance courses. Trent is a member of the National Association of Insurance Financial Advisors (NAIFA), the National Association of Life Brokerage Agencies (NAILBA), the Advantage Insurance Network (AIN), the National Association of Fixed Annuity (NAFA), and the MV Group and Collabrix.
In 2001 Trent was named a Legacy Legend and in 2007 accepted the first ever Legacy Cup Award for Simplicity Des Moines (then Davis Life & Annuity.) The Legacy Cup is given to one of the country’s premier brokerage firms for what Legacy believes is the epitome of values, innovation, respect, passion and integrity in the brokerage marketplace.
Prior to joining his father, Ronald A. Davis, CLU at Davis Life & Annuity, Trent was a manager of domestic distribution for 20th Century Fox Film Corporation. In a 10 year time span, Trent worked for three different billionaires; Marvin Davis, Rupert Murdoch and Barry Dillar. Trent has a working knowledge and understanding of the wealthy market’s values, perceptions and needs.
Trent has mentored hundreds of successful financial advisors, agencies and marketing companies. The understanding of advisors’ needs with a consumer friendly approach in an ever-changing economy, has led Trent to coin the phrase; “If the consumer is happy, everyone is happy.” Growing our advisors’ business the right way is his passion. The Platinum Rule defines the right way as; treat people in a manner that you would like to be treated.
Trent and his wife, Sheila, enjoy travel, family and supporting Campus Outreach Christian missions. Their three daughters, Lauren, Kelsey, and Caitlin live in Indianapolis. Trent and Sheila visit them often and enjoy seeing their grandchildren.
