Fixed annuity product changes in response to COVID-19: An update and a look into the future

With the spread of the pandemic into the United States, the drastic drop in interest rates spurred an immediate response from many insurers that issue fixed products. In a conversational format, we will discuss product changes in the range of fixed annuities: FIA, SPDA, and SPIA. We will also talk to one insurer about the internal view of the current climate, responses, and a look at things to come.
